Electric Longboard: Mark 1
This was the first working prototype of the electric longboard. I designed the enclosure to contain the motor controller, radio control receiver, batteries, and voltage monitor. The case was designed to be compact, lightweight, and very durable. This iteration worked well, but I learned a lot about circuitry and material properties that resulted in improvements in the second iteration. Electric Longboard: Mark 2
This is the second working prototype of the electric longboard! I am very proud of both iterations, but this one was especially challenging and much more mechanically and electronically complex than the first iteration. There are several components shared between the two, but the overall design of this version is vastly different. Electric Motorcycle: Mark 1
This project is still in its very early stages. I have a lot more work to do, but the majority of the planning and legwork of research has been completed for this build. The plan is to take a classic motorcycle, ripout the ICE engine, then convert it to be powered by a high voltage DC motor, a large array of li-ion batteries, and all the necessary motor controls, charging circuitry, safety and security features, and trip data analysis hardware.
